Giving something to those less fortunate is a central pillar in the spirit of Christmas. Colorado work injury attorneys at the Babcock Law Firm are taking part in that spirit by sponsoring kids housed at the Denver Children’s Home.
This Christmas, three kids at the home will receive gifts on behalf of the Babcock Law Firm.
While we tirelessly work throughout the year to obtain injured workers’ rightful benefits, we also want to do something else to make Christmas brighter for someone less fortunate.
The Denver Children’s Home is an organization dedicated to helping troubled youth and families get back on their feet. Residents generally come from homes stricken with poverty, abuse (both physical and drugs) and neglect. Kids from these types of situations can suffer trauma and have many negative psychological consequences to deal with.
The Children’s Home gives youth from these troubled circumstances a place to heal and grow.
“We’re always looking for ways we can help make a difference in the life of someone less fortunate,” explains Colorado work injury attorney R. Mack Babcock, founder of the Babcock Law Firm. “All of us here at the firm felt a sponsorship and donation of money and time to the Children’s Home would yield the greatest benefit.”
Considering the Denver Children’s Home is a local organization having an immediate impact, we felt a donation of time and resources there would be well used.
When you’re with your family this holiday season, remember those who are unable to be with their families or those who may go without this Christmas…if you’re able, see what you can do to help bring the Christmas spirit to someone less fortunate.
And of course, we wish everyone a joyous holiday season and Happy New Year. It’s been a great year and we look forward to a new year and fresh ways of tackling issues.
See you in 2011!!
