Denver workers’ compensation and personal injury attorney Stephanie Tucker, Member Attorney of The Babcock Law Firm, was the recipient of the 2021 Rising Star award by the Workers’ Injury Law & Advocacy Group (WILG). She was presented this award at WILG’s 2021 Annual Convention in September in Palm Beach, Florida.
The Rising Star award is awarded to workers’ compensation attorneys who have demonstrated outstanding leadership and accomplishments in service to WILG and who are new to the organization or have recently become more involved with the organization.
This designation is particularly noteworthy coming from WILG, which itself is a nationally recognized and respected non-profit organization committed to advocating for hardworking Americans who become ill or injured on the job. As a member-based organization supported by over 1,100 workers’ comp attorneys, paralegals and legal practitioners nationwide, WILG serves injured workers and their families through education, communication, advocacy and research.
In the last 9+ years Stephanie has been at The Babcock Law Firm, she has become an adept, knowledgeable and passionate advocate for injured workers in Colorado and nationwide. As an active member of numerous legal organizations and associations such as the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association, Workers’ Compensation Education Association, Colorado Bar Association Workers’ Compensation Committee and WILG (to name a few), her days are quite busy—but she absolutely loves what she does.
“Once at work, the day always flies,” said Stephanie in a recent interview with Enjuris. “Between client calls, court appearances, and obligations for the various boards I sit on, I’m lucky if I can answer a few emails and get some paperwork done. However, I wouldn’t have it any other way. Every day presents new challenges and keeps me on my toes.”
At the same convention, Stephanie’s colleague and founder of The Babcock Law Firm, Mack Babcock, was appointed as the new President of WILG.
